Privacy notice for customers

Last updated 29 October 2026

Tradespeople use Jobbington, a service provided by Trienics Ltd, for their enquiry forms, customer records and reminders. This notice explains how the personal data you provide is collected, used, stored and protected.

Who is responsible for your personal data

The tradesperson whose enquiry form you completed is the data controller for your personal data and decides how it is used. Trienics Ltd, which manages Jobbington, stores and processes your personal data on the tradesperson's behalf as their data processor.

Jobbington is managed by Trienics Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 10990291. Registered office: Whitecroft, Horton-cum-Studley, Oxford, OX33 1AU.

Personal data we collect

When you complete an enquiry form, we collect:

If you contact the tradesperson by other means, such as by telephone or WhatsApp, the tradesperson may enter these details themselves. While dealing with your job, the tradesperson and their team may also record notes, photographs of the work (which may show the inside or outside of your property), the dates of any home visit and of the work, and prices, and keep a record of previous work carried out for you.

How your personal data is used

Your personal data is used to:

The tradesperson uses your personal data to provide the quotation you requested and to carry out the work, and on the basis of their legitimate business interest in keeping records and requesting feedback.

Your game plan is generated automatically from your answers. If an artificial intelligence (AI) service is used to assist with its wording, that service receives your answers, up to three photographs and your first name. It does not receive your telephone number, email address or postal address. This feature is not currently in use.

Messages you may receive

If you have provided an email address, these messages may be sent by email in the tradesperson's business name, and any reply will go directly to the tradesperson. Otherwise, the tradesperson may send them by text message or WhatsApp from their own phone.

Apart from service reminders about work of the kind already carried out for you, we do not send marketing messages, and we do not sell your personal data or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

You may opt out of reminders, service reminders, follow-up messages and review requests at any time by using the link at the foot of any such email, or by contacting the tradesperson or us. Your choice will apply to all your jobs with that tradesperson.

Who has access to your personal data

We use carefully selected service providers to host the website, store data, and send emails and alerts. These providers may use your personal data only to provide their services to us. Where any of them process personal data outside the United Kingdom, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long we keep your personal data

Service reminders are kept with the customer record and deleted with it, or sooner if the tradesperson removes them. Invoices and credit notes are financial records, so they are kept for six years from their date, then deleted automatically.

The tradesperson can download a spreadsheet of their customers and jobs, and receives one by email each week. Once downloaded, the spreadsheet forms part of the tradesperson's own records and is their responsibility.

How we protect your personal data

Your personal data is transmitted securely and stored on protected servers. Photographs are private and can be viewed only by the tradesperson. We test our systems to confirm that no tradesperson can access another tradesperson's customers. To prevent spam, we keep a scrambled code based on your internet connection for 7 days; it is not linked to your enquiry.

The enquiry form does not use cookies, and our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
